We can't wait to see you!
In just two weeks, we'll all be together at the Vancouver Convention Centre overlooking the ocean and mountains. We have a very exciting day planned and can't wait to show off our city. Read below for some information about the day, and if you have a little extra time in Vancouver, some suggestions for what to do.
Arriving in Vancouver
If you arrive at the airport, the Canada Line is Vancouver's rapid transit and can get you downtown in 30 minutes. Alternatively, if you do not want to lug your luggage around, a cab will cost ~$40 to get downtown.
Wedding Day –
June 14th, 2025
Guests are welcome to arrive starting at 4 p.m. Arrive with plenty of time before the ceremony to enjoy the music of Black Dog String Quartet!
Location: All events take place at the Vancouver Convention Centre, 1055 Canada Pl. Please enter the venue from the Burrard St. entrance, where there is a large globe hanging above the escalators. After entering, staff will direct you to the Oceanview Foyer where all the events of the day will take place. There are accessible elevators if needed.
Dress code: Cocktail (aka fabulous)
Photographs: Please, no photographs or video during the ceremony. Our videographer and photographer will capture the day for us, and we'll also have a photo-booth set up in the evening.
Phones: Please have your phone on silent mode all day, and if you can, turn it off during the ceremony.
Questions: If you have any questions during the wedding, our planning team, Filosophi Events, will be able to help you.
Schedule of Events
Ceremony begins at 4:30 p.m.
The ceremony will be followed by cocktails + hors d'oeuvres, dinner, speeches, dancing, and some fun surprises along the way.
First dance will be at 9 p.m. and we can't wait to show off our moves.
At 10 p.m., as it's getting dark out, we'll have a surprise musical performance. This will be followed by some late night food you won't want to miss.
The event ends at 1 a.m.
Extra time in Vancouver?
Vancouver is an amazing city, and we're hoping you can take in some of what it has to offer.
SIGHTSEEING
STANLEY PARK SEAWALL
Walk or rent a bike and head out for Vancouver’s most beautiful route, travel around the park offering scenic views throughout and fresh ocean air. Stop in at the Stanley Park Pavilion (casual) or the Teahouse (a bit fancier) for a drink or a bite. There are also horse drawn carriages around Stanley Park if you want to tour the area.
PACIFIC SPIRIT PARK
If you want to get into nature without having to leave the city limits, a walk through the trails of Pacific Spirit Park is the perfect plan. This is not at all an arduous hike, just a nice trail walk, in this protected piece of old growth forest.

VANCOUVER BEACHES
We live on the coast for a reason, and highly recommend spending some time near the ocean. Top beaches in the city are Third Beach in Stanley Park, Spanish Banks, Jericho Beach, English Bay and Kits Beach.

GARDENS
If the forest and the beach aren't your vibe but you still want to get outside, we have several beautiful curated gardens worth a visit – Vandusen Botanical Gardens would be our top recommendation, as well as the Bloedel Conservatory, the Rose Garden in Stanley Park and the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Chinese Garden – the later two are much smaller but beautiful.

VANCOUVER ART GALLERY
This isn’t the Met and isn't going to consume your entire day, but a visit to this jewell at the centre of the city is well worth it. A well curated rotating collection of artwork makes for a very nice afternoon, especially if it's raining! Grab a drink afterwards at Reflections at The Hotel Georgia just across the street.
MUSEUM OF ANTHROPOLOGY at UBC
With its soaring architecture, spectacular sea-to-sky views and stunning Northwest Coast First Nations art collection, the Museum of Anthropology at UBC is a must-see among Vancouver museums. Don’t miss the dramatic Great Hall, with its magnificent carved house poles, or Haida artist Bill Reid’s cedar sculpture, The Raven and the First Men. The impressive collections of global art and artifacts are worth your time.

GRANVILLE ISLAND
An iconic spot in Vancouver’s downtown core is the waterfront Granville Island Market. An indoor market featuring a fascinating assortment of colourful food, produce stores and farmers stalls, all fresh from the ocean, the oven or the field.
